This weekend London was like a small village where everybody knows everybody

Friday

I suggested the girls to go out on Saturday and check out this new cafe where you pay by the minute. They agreed. They went out on Friday night as well (I had other plans). They went to a restaurant in Shoreditch, a quite big one, on two levels. They started talking about the cafe I suggested to them. A guy sitting at the table next to them turned around and told them he was the founder of the cafe. What are the chances, in a city like London, really now!

Saturday

We went to the cafe. We were moving around, looking for sits when someone called my name. Yes, I know, I am terribly famous and amazingly popular, but still… It was a guy I went to highschool with (in Craiova, Romania). Awesome? Absolutely!

Later on, I took the tube back home. Next to me, a friendly British guy. We talked about stuff like Romania, Camden, weather, winter, Polar Vortex, USA, Canada just to realize we both lived in Toronto at the same time. So we kept talking about Dundas Square, King St., CN Tower, fear of heights etc. Creepy? No! But so much fun!
